  • Repeat steps 3 and 4 until the oil runs clear.
  • If the oil remains discolored after three sprays, send the handpiece for servicing, as this may indicate a rust issue.

Best Practices for cleaning and maintaining Equipment:

Avoid Chemical Disinfectants: Refrain from using chemical disinfectants, abrasive cleaners, or antibacterial soaps as cleaners

Avoid Submerging: Avoid submerging any handpieces into any type of liquid for cleaning or disinfection.

Avoid Ultrasonic Cleaners: Do not utilise ultrasonic cleaners for cleaning any handpieces.

Ensure Proper Installation: Ensure all instruments are removed from your handpiece or equipment prior to cleaning and lubricating

Autoclave: When autoclaving do not exceed a temperature of 138°C and do not overfill trays as this will prevent full sterilisation.

Please note: These are generalised guidelines as recommended by MC Repairs Ltd. For exact guidelines, please refer to Lubrication System user manual.
